PRODUCT FEATURE

Multi-model routing and retained-value economics

Choose models by role, capability, risk, cost and latency with eligible fallback chains and outcome-linked AI scorecards.

Match the task to eligible model capability: Task and policy; Eligible model A; Eligible model B; Routing decision; Reviewed output.

Velocize separates the assigned responsibility from the provider, execution surface and exact model. Different models can serve different stages of one process, or a single eligible model can handle a bounded assignment. Routing combines policy constraints with the optimization objective and observed outcomes, rather than making one model the permanent owner of enterprise work.

01

Select capability within an eligible boundary

The effective role, stage, profile and matter inform selection. Provider eligibility also considers tenant restrictions, information sensitivity and residency. Only eligible candidates participate in the route; a lower price cannot authorize a prohibited processing destination.

Execution surface and model identity remain distinguishable. A local runtime is recorded with its selected model, and a developer agent surface is not mistaken for the inference provider. This makes assignments understandable when a tool or model is replaced.

02

Use governed fallback and explicit disablement

An ordered candidate chain provides a defined fallback route when the current candidate fails. The next option remains subject to the effective restrictions. A tenant-disabled AI assignment is a hard stop for that context, not a preference that can be bypassed through a broader default.

Cost, time, safety and balanced objectives can guide eligible choices. A multi-stage workflow may use one model for preparation and another for review; this does not imply that every task is broadcast to every provider.

03

Compare accepted work with its real cost

Scorecards connect provider and model usage to role, stage and outcomes. Token consumption is interpreted with retained output, rejection, correction, escalation and discarded work. Cheap generation with expensive human repair remains visible.

The business record persists when a provider changes. Requirements, evidence and approvals retain their identity, while the new model is evaluated in the context it serves. This limits dependence on a single vendor’s behavior and availability without claiming that switching models eliminates validation work.

04

Application scenario and operating value

A team needs routine backlog summaries, detailed architecture review and occasional jury analysis. Assigning the most expensive model to all three may waste capacity, while assigning the cheapest one everywhere can increase correction. Define the task classes and acceptance criteria first, then choose eligible candidates separately for preparation, review and adjudication.

The expected result is a task-sensitive assignment policy with visible tradeoffs. It can use one or several providers without relocating business authority into any of them. The team can explain why a model was selected and what accepted work its cost produced.

  • Define comparable task classes.
  • Apply provider eligibility before ranking.
  • Measure correction and discarded output.
