PRODUCT FEATURE

Workflow simulation with distinct approval and commit

Explore governed workflow changes in simulation, then review approval and committed execution separately with attributable history.

Evaluate change before activating it: Current workflow; Isolated scenario; Reviewed difference; Controlled activation.

Velocize separates exploring a workflow from changing live governed state. Simulation helps examine stages, decisions and policy effects before a consequential commit. Approval and execution retain their own authority and history, so a useful preview does not silently become a live operating decision.

01

Explore alternatives within an isolated mode

A simulation can examine proposed stage behavior, role participation and transition requirements. The simulated result remains distinguishable from committed state. Teams can reason about a new review gate without recording it as an actual completed approval.

AI can assist with alternatives and explanations within its role. Its proposal is still subject to the same profile and access constraints that govern the surrounding workflow.

02

Preserve approval and commit authority

Moving from exploration to committed work requires the appropriate authorization and required approval. Simulation does not waive a human gate or create evidence that the real process already ran.

The resulting change and its actor remain traceable. If recovery or rollback is required, the governed history explains the original change and subsequent action rather than disguising a reverted proposal as an uninterrupted live state.

03

Connect workflow design to operating responsibilities

Review how a change affects handoffs, evidence, exception paths and AI assignments. A simpler diagram can still produce an unsafe authority path if a required reviewer disappears.

This gives architecture and operations teams a shared way to examine process consequences. It complements verification in the target environment; a simulation is not a measured guarantee of every future production outcome.

04

Application scenario and operating value

A program proposes an AI review stage before human release approval. Define the stage’s inputs, allowed tools, jury behavior and decision effect. The proposal can be explored without presenting the simulated result as an actual completed review of a production release.

The outcome is an approved workflow change with a known activation boundary and understandable failure paths. The design process remains connected to the responsibilities it changes rather than ending at an attractive diagram.

  • Separate simulation from committed records.
  • Exercise success and failure paths.
  • Preserve mandatory human approval.
